Warm Audio, purveyor of classic-inspired professional recording products, microphones and guitar pedals, has released a Limited Edition Titanium design of the popular WA-47, a large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone in a premium kit with custom moulded flight case. Additionally, Warm Audio is releasing a Titanium-style stereo pair of the WA-87 R2, a large-diaphragm transformer-balanced condenser microphone ‘faithfully recreating’ ‘you know what’. This exclusive run of Limited Edition Titanium WA-47T (A$1840 RRP) and Limited Edition Titanium WA-87 R2 TS Stereo Pair (A$2399 RRP) are only available while supplies last.

TITANIUM WA-47T

The WA-47T is sold as an authentic reproduction of the most coveted tube condenser mic for timeless studio sound in a limited edition titanium-style finish. The WA-47T premium kit comes with a matching titanium-finished shock mount, a high-quality wooden display box, power supply unit, seven-pin Gotham AG cable, all included with a custom, heavy-duty moulded black flight case for ultimate protection from the rigours of transportation.

The WA-47T accurately matches the sonic profile of the prized vintage originals delivering the deep bass, rich midrange, and smooth highs that made it a favorite of legendary recording artists. The WA-47T uses superior components, starting with a custom K47-style capsule meticulously recreated to match early vintage originals. A premium 5751 vacuum tube sits in between the capsule and a custom TAB-Funkenwerk (AMI) USA output transformer. These elements come together to bring the legendary sounds of timeless icons to today’s music makers.

TITANIUM WA-87R2 TS STEREO PAI

The WA-87 R2 TS is a stereo pair of the renowned large-diaphragm WA-87 R2 mics featuring a nickel-plated brass body with a limited edition Titanium-style finish. The Warm Audio promise is to deliver all of the clarity and presence made popular by original vintage 87-style mics, and the WA-87 R2 TS stereo pair is manufactured with tight tolerances to deliver consistent performance for stereo recording applications like overheads, acoustic guitar, and piano. The WA-87 R2 TS package comes with separate matching titanium-finished shock mounts and hard mounts for each mic. The set also includes individual leatherette cases for each microphone, and the whole package comes in a genuine SKB moulded case for ultimate protection from the rigours of transportation.

The WA-87 R2 TS mic captures present mids, clear high end, and tight bass. The ‘Hi-fi’ sound profile of the mic helps it stand out in front of mixes to let the vocals shine. The WA-87 R2 TS matches well with just about any preamp and compressor to deliver an instantly professional sound.
