TELEFUNKEN INTRODUCES TWO NEW DRUM MIC PACKS

Telefunken Elektroakustik is introducing two new drum microphone packs at NAMM 2016. The company has assembled the three unique voices of its Dynamic Series microphone line, in combination with two matched small diaphragm condensers, and packaged them as the six-microphone DC6 Drum Pack and the seven-microphone DC7 Drum Pack. The packs are suitable both for drum recording and live performance applications.
The M82 kick mic is found in both packs, as is the M80-SHB for snare (or vocals), M81-SH for toms, and the M60 FET cardioid for cymbals or overheads. The M80-SHB features the same circuit as the popular M80 standard, but a shorter body with a built-on stand mount. The two M60 FET solid-state condenser mics come with M761 elastic mounts and are designed for a full low end and a quick, accurate transient response. Both DC6 and DC7 Drum Packs come in a heavy-duty hard shell HC87 flight case and include multiple drum mounts and a 5m XLR cable with right angle female connector.
