Mannys Music has been bought out by SoundBay, the operator of Aussie DJ and production retailer, Store DJ.
Started by Manny Gauci-Seddon after managing Allen’s City store for a decade, Mannys Music. The onset of the internet age is said to be the cause for Mannys Music’s decline in terms of technology and process.
SoundBay owner Jeremy Leitch: “Our mission for Mannys Music is to ensure that our customers have the ultimate experience online or in our store. This will require a redesign of the current systems, processes and store layout and we are excited about delivering this over the course of the next six months.”
Store DJ is the traditional picture of success. Starting out as a small online business run out of a garage to a world-class online and physical-store retails network, the company has many talented sales, logistic and customer support staff.
SoundBay now has 60 staff members including veteran Mannys Music staff, Steve, Chris and Dave, plus a host of backend staff who have a passion for customer service, Mannys Music will deliver the most advanced and streamlined online ordering process, competitive pricing and the largest range of musical instruments, lighting, staging, studio and DJ equipment.
Mannys Music will also be continuing its successful Music School, for guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and singing.
