SONY GETS RESOURCEFUL

Surrounded by the vast crowd of other, diverse Sony electronic goodies you can be forgiven for perhaps overlooking the company’s professional audio products. That should change with Sony Australia’s Professional Solutions Division announcing the appointment of Melbourne-based The Resource Corp (TRC) as its official distributor for professional audio products to the musical instrument (MI) market. Sony’s most recent professional audio products are particularly targeted at the MI market, with the launch of the company’s new DWZ Series of digital wireless microphone systems, operating in the 2.4GHz band. The DWZ range includes several models specifically designed for musicians and performers with systems for vocals, guitar, bass and wind instruments such as sax or trumpet. Sony also has a large variety of wired microphones, professional headphones, portable digital recorders and AV mixer/amplifiers. The agreement with TRC is effective immediately and if you don’t have an existing trading relationship with Sony, The Resource Corp are the folks to contact for any Sony Pro Audio gear.
