SLAMMING BEATS SYSTEM
HK Audio is claiming its Lucas Nano 600 is “the world’s first PA that can be deployed as a single column and as a stereo system”… hmm, HKA may want to rethink that one. However, the company does specialize in lightweight, portable speaker-on-a-stick PAs that can double as mono setups for lectern presentations and the like, or small stereo rigs for mobile DJ’s and solo/duo musicians. The latest Lucas Nano 600 components are a single 4.5-inch satellite top box, a dual version of the same and a 10-inch subwoofer. You can mix and match as required. The satellites are actively powered at 80 watts and the sub is 300 watts. The sub has an inbuilt 3 channel mixer and 5 inputs (stereo RCA inputs make the extras) and controls for balancing however you’ve deployed the system. The subwoofer cabinet has a transport bay for the satellites. A bunch of accessories are available including a padded trolley bag – you’ll need to check with your retailer exactly what comes included in a system and what is an accessory that’ll cost. HK Audio tells us a full Lucas Nano 600 system will provide “slamming beats for up to 200 people”. See for yourself at www.hkaudio.com

I have two nano 300’s, great for their size but, I’m waiting for the 600 to be released in the US Everyone I’ve asked seems to give me the runaround. Can anyone there tell me when this power conversion to the US market is going to happen?
Thanks,
Phil
Hi Phil, just putting the call into HK, will let you know when we hear anything.
Hi Phil, got this in from Andreas from HK just now in response to your question:
Hello, Lucas Nano 600, the first Crossover PA system on the market, will be coming finally to the US. The first shipment will leave our works early next week. Getting the safety approvals took a little longer than anticipated but now we are ready.
Please check with Korg USA for a dealer near you that is carrying HK Audio and soon also Lucas Nano 600.
