Radial’s new Catapult is yet another genius utilitarian addition to its renown family of desert-island products.

The Catapult is a four-channel audio snake that lets you send analogue and AES digital audio signals over Cat5 shielded twisted pair cable. Need to move signal around a large stage with a single cable? Or want to connect two recording rooms using a pre-wired network? Catapult makes it easier than ever.

Of the six configurations, you get a choice of three input modules and three output modules, depending on your needs. Each input module features four XLR inputs along with two Ethercon output and four additional XLR outputs. Output modules have an Ethercon input, throughput, and two sets of XLR outputs These can be ordered without transformers if you’re using it simply for extension, or they can transmit AES signal. A ground lift switch helps get rid of hum and buzz.
