Quantum 2626 is PreSonus’s latest and greatest audio interface. With the speed of Thunderbolt 3, PreSonus states a roundtrip latency of less than 1ms to allow for real-time recording and monitoring through your favourite plug-ins. Audio resolution is up to 24-bit/192k.
Quantum 2626 has eight built-in analogue XMAX mic preamps with two direct preamp outputs and two line returns for connection to outboard. Eight line outputs let you run additional pairs of studio monitors or send multiple mixes to musos while tracking. Both 1/4-inch headphone outputs have a dedicated volume control. Expand your I/O options with dual ADAT optical, and S/PDIF, taking the count to a maximum of 26 ins and 26 outs simultaneously.
Quantum 2626 comes bundled with PreSonus Studio One Artist and Studio Magic Plug-In Suite software.
Expect to pay AU$999 when it hits the Aussie market this April.
