Audio-Technica introduced a number of new products at NAMM.

The Artist Elite AE2300 is a dynamic cardioid instrument mic with Audio-Technica’s double-dome diaphragm design. Equipped with a switchable low-pass filter for getting rid of high-frequency noise, the AE2300 has a low profile design and can handle high SPLs. Supplied with an AT8471 isolation stand clamp, threaded adapter and soft protective pouch, the AE2300 retails in Australia for $499.

The ATM230 dynamic instrument microphone joins the ranks and is ideal for use with high-SPL percussion instruments like toms and snare. The ATM230’s hypercardioid polar pattern is good for rejecting unwanted spill in drum kit recordings, or on the stage for live sound applications.

The System 10 and System 10 PRO digital wireless systems get two new compatible mics in the ATW-T1007 microphone desk stand transmitter and the ATW-1006 boundary microphone/transmitter. Ideal for conference rooms and meeting spaces.

The famous M50x headphones get a makeover with the introduction of the M50xMG, a limited edition matte grey version of the pro cans.
