MORE CONTROL WITH SYMETRIX COMPOSER V5.1
Symetrix’s Composer v5.1 programming software features an assortment of new DSP and workflow enhancements. Major upgrades to the AEC set-up screen deliver more efficient diagnostics and troubleshooting. On the DSP side, AEC double-talk performance and comfort-noise quality have been improved. A 20% increase in tail length, now 300ms, facilitates the algorithm’s adaptation performance in larger, more reverberant acoustic spaces. Flex EQ modules have been expanded to support up to 32 bands.
Not surprisingly, Dante is a major focus of v5.1. There’s expanded Composer native support for select third-party devices, including the addition of Ashly. Along with faster and easier editing of Dante channel names, Composer’s Dante Flow Manager and site file reports now consolidate information on transmit and receive channels, providing a complete view of Dante utilisation in a single report.
Information is more centralised and accessible, with an All Controls tab making the Remote Control Manager a central hub for all aspects of control in the system.
“We’re extremely excited about the updates made to this version of Composer. In addition to some major audio enhancements, we focused on software improvements to help our customers cut down on programming time, which ultimately leads to overall project cost reductions,” said Ashley Kay, Director of Technical Resources at Symetrix.
