IN SPACE NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM
23 October 2014
Now here is some very cool news, NASA has just uploaded to SoundCloud a huge collection of sounds recorded from deep space and during missions.
Surprisingly there is some sound being emitted from distant Galaxies and planets. There are a number of collections to choose from, including sounds from Mercury, Space Shuttles, Rocket Engines, Solar Systems and Beyond sounds.
The very best part of this news, however, is that all of the sounds have been released on a Creative Commons licence, meaning you can use them for your own compositions or soundscapes!
Take a listen and see if you can find some alien life forms rocking out to retro synths. We hear Moog is huge on Mars.
You can click here for the full collection. Or check out the Solar System collection below.
