From Plugin Alliance, the bx_hybrid V2 is a state-of-the-art mono and stereo EQ bundle featuring Brainworx´ own Auto Listen System, notch filters, sweepable bass and presence shifters, stereo-width control, mono maker and many more features. The bx_hybrid V2 was re-designed from the ground up (it’s always alarming to be told something needed that much redesigning, but anyway…), using Brainworx´ latest filter-designs to provide analogue-style filters with a digital workflow. Being ICON-compatible the EQs will map any and all features of the AVID/Digidesign ICON centre section EQ plus the Surround joysticks – and no surprise bx_hybrid supports 64-bit, AAX (Native and DSP). The end result promises artifact-free EQ-ing up to 26kHz even in low-resolution sessions such as 44.1k & 48k. A neat Mouse Over feature allows adjusting the parameters by holding the mouse over any knob and simply turning your mouse wheel or there’s still good ol’ Direct access – just type in any valid number into the text fields for direct access to the exact value.
