HARMAN: PUBLIC CONNECTION

Harman has put out a public beta of its Connected PA mobile app for iOS and Android. It’s available now on both Google Play Store and App Store. The app provides a centralised interface for full audio system setup, configuration and control for products in the Connected PA product family (including Soundcraft Ui mixers, JBL PRX800 loudspeakers, dbx Di1, AKG P5i/MDAi mics). The app lets you streamline speaker and mixer setup, get custom vocal and instrument sounds with genre-specific presets, instantly recall settings by simply plugging in, and more. Connected PA products are embedded with Harman’s ioSYS technology which enables the different elements of the PA to recognise each other and be configured automatically with the app. The app provides wizards for quick and easy system configuration, and offers access from a variety of devices including iOS and Android tablets.
