FOCUSRITE PLUG-IN COLLECTIVE
Thanks to the breadth of products offered by Focusrite like interfaces, preamps and plug-ins, its users aren’t in rarity. And the Plug-In Collective program shows that Focusrite values its customers by making available special deals each month to any of its users.
If that’s you, what are you waiting for? Head over to Focusrite now, log into your account, and check out what’s on offer. Currently, it’s a freebie — the Sound Radix SurferEQ 2 Boogie plug-in that features three EQ bands. The high and low bands are switchable to shelf mode. The centre band has ‘surfing’ mode which tracks the pitch of a monophonic instrument or a vocal source and can adapt its bands’ frequencies relative to the music in real-time.
Plug-In Collective has also seen Focusrite collaborate with Softube, iZotope, and Eventide. The motive behind the move is the advent of Focusrite’s ultra-low latency interfaces which it says opens up possibilities of using multiple DAW plug-ins in real-time rather than needing special mixes and outboard DSP.
