DBTECHNOLOGIES EVOLVES OPERA SERIES

The dBTechnologies Opera series has made its mark in the sound reinforcement industry. The latest evolution of the series has just been announced by the company, getting back to basics with three brand new two-way 10-inch, 12-inch and 15-inch powered speakers.

All three models have horizontal dispersion patterns of 110° and vertical directivity of 85°. The Class D amplifier provides 600W RMS. DSP processing comes via a 56 bit controller at 24 bit/48k resolution, and eight presets are accessible with a rotary encoder. The crossover frequency between the one-inch compression driver and low frequency woofer is at 1800Hz. The 10-inch model weighs 12.3kg where the 15-inch speaker is 18.3kg. All three loudspeakers can be used as monitors with a 45° slant on the side.
