An excellent video has just been created by musician Nigel Stanford for his new single Cymatics.

The video shows experimentation with the effect of cymatic frequencies on matter and the kinds of patterns they form. Stanford states the experiments you see in the video are all real, however he told Reddit that some of the forms may have been “coaxed” a little (link).

The video itself was shot in 6k resolution on a Red Dragon, and finished in 4k / Ultra HD. He even offers the full res files for download via his website, here.
