The company are marketing the new interface as ‘fusing’ the sound of high-end mixing consoles with speedy connectivity and instant-access audio streams, housed in a compact chassis.

The interface is said to have been developed with a musician’s workflow in mind and is built on a fully-symmetrical audio chain. Featuring two DiscretePRO microphone preamps and 24-bit AD/DA (Analogue-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analogue) converters, with (up to) 192kHz sampling rate and an advanced clocking system. Other features include a Mix knob, rear-mounted Speaker (A & B) 1/4-inch outputs, with dedicated switch buttons, two front-mounted Phono (headphones) 1/4-inch and 1/8-inch outs with gain.

A wide range of connectivity options are included such as ADAT, MIDI, phono, S/PDIF, Word Clock, USB, XLR/ balanced 1/4-inch combo connections. Allowing everything from microphones, instruments, turntables, pro audio equipment, Macs, PCs, or even iOS and Android smart devices can be directly connected.

The interface can also act as a three-port USB/MIDI hub, offering a Talkback feature (to give directions to talent in another room using the built-in microphone) and Iinsert connections (to add external line level devices, such as compressors or other effects processing, into the signal flow before the digital conversion stage).
