APOGEE TRADE-IN OFFERS FOR FIREWIRE MODELS
Apogee is offering its Control hardware remote completely free with a purchase of the Element 88. With eight onboard preamps, high quality conversion, Thunderbolt connection, and rugged build, the Element 88 is a fantastic interface that’s the biggest sibling in the trio of Element models recently released. As we found out in our recent review, pairing the Element interface with the Control unit gives you invaluable hardware control (which a standalone Element doesn’t have), perfecting the Element experience.
Owners of the original Duet or Ensemble Firewire interfaces have an opportunity to upgrade to the newer versions of either by trading in your models. You’ll get $235 for handing in your old Duet, bringing the price of a new Duet for iPad and Mac down to $724. Trading in an original Firewire Ensemble will get $935 closer to the latest Thunderbolt model, discounting it to $3260.
Apogee has offered Symphony users a trade-in deal as well. If you own the original Symphony I/O Mk I, you can receive $1100 for the chassis to put toward the purchase of an I/O Mk II chassis, bringing your price to $1695 inc GST.
