Air Beats Festival In QLD Gets JBL A12
First QLD music festival post-COVID uses the JBL A12 Line Array demo system; CMI working with JBL to support more events

Recently CMI’s VTX partner in Rockhampton, Stage & Audio Event Solutions, deployed the A12 Line Array demo system at the Air Beats Festival in Gladstone, QLD. This was the first public music festival in QLD since Covid first began and the headline act was Sheppard.
The event was a local council initiative to get live events back up and running in regional QLD.
The system specifications are as follows:
- 24 x JBL VTX A12 (main arrays)
- 18 x JBL VTX A8 (side fills & front fills)
- 12 x JBL VTX G28 Subwoofers
This is a great enterprise by the Gladstone local council and we at CMI are currently working together with our JBL partners to help get more festivals and concerts back up and running as soon as possible.
