Xfer Records was founded by electronic dance music producer deadmau5 and Steve Duda in 2005 as a platform for music collaborations, and has released plugins such as Serum, Nerve, and Cthulhu. In the collection of free plugins you’ll find the OTT, DeltaModulator, 8BitShaper, DimensionExpander, OP1DrumUtility, and DJMFilter.
With a minimal UI, and simple controls — power, size, and mix — this plugin lands in the ballpark of the Boss Dimension C. It is comprised of four choruses that are staggered by a variable delay amount. Half of this signal is then flipped out of phase to create a more complex result.
