Philadelphia-based Decent Samples is a library of premium samples for film composers, offering a range of paid and free options created by a diverse community. Created by David Hilowitz, the company provides the Decent Sampler plugin. This is a free sample player plugin that allows you to play sample libraries in the ‘DecentSampler’ format — with files with dspreset and dslibrary extensions. This plugin also allows Pianobook users to freely access the majority of the virtual instruments on the site.
It is available in VST, VST3, AAX, and standalone formats on Mac (Intel & M1) and Windows (32-bit/64-bit) operating systems, and VST, VST3, and standalone on Linux (Intel 64-bit).
