FREE GlitchMachines VST Plugin
GlitchMachines is currently giving away copies of its Hysteresis glitch delay plugin for free.
According to their marketing Hysteresis is “geared toward creating robotic artifacts and abstract musical malfunctions.”
The VST plugin features a delay effect with stutter, lowpass filter and modulation effects thrown into the feedback signal path. It allows you to easily add glitchy articulations and abstract textures to your projects.
The website states that you can “Process anything from drums and percussion to synth lines and sound effects. On top of being able to create incredibly wild signal mutations, it can also be used to generate classic delay effects.” Have a listen to the soundcloud example below to decide if you want it.
This could come in handy if you want to add a little glitch to your music. GlitchMachines didn’t ask for any sign-ups, not even an email, nor were there any other kinds of downloads in order to use it. We like that. It’s a straight forward zip file with both Mac & Windows installers.
FEATURES:
- Feedback-based delay effect with tempo sync
- Reversible stutter effect in the feedback path
- Lowpass filter in the feedback path
- Modulation with rate division/multiplication
- Presets by Ivo Ivanov, Thomas Hennebert, DAED & Apparition
- Cross-platform compatibility (PC/Mac – VST/AU 32bit & 64bit)
