Inspired by legendary real-world guitar amplifiers, Blue Cat’s Free Amp plugin includes ‘classic clean’, ‘classic drive’, and ‘modern drive’ amp models to cover a wide range of amp tones. As with real guitar amps, you can tweak the frequency response with the included EQ and adjust the amount of drive, but be mindful, it does go to 11. Version 1.1 of the plugin allows users to load impulse responses of cabinet, microphones, and room setups for more exact rig and venue reproduction.
