XTA BRINGS DSP PROWESS TO APA AMPS
XTA has released the APA Series of power amplifiers, all of which are loaded with what the company is known for — high-quality DSP. APA stands for Adaptive Processing Amplification.
The four-channel Class D amps have been designed to adapt to conditions, protect drivers, and enhance speaker performance. Some of the DSP you get includes multiple bands of dynamic EQ, FIR filtering, limiting, and crossover/EQ components. All processing takes place at 96k with conversion at the analogue input and speaker output stages. You can get audio signal into the amps either locally through AES or analogue inputs, or via retro-fitted networked audio connections using either Dante or AVB protocols. A full-colour LCD display gives you real-time monitoring read outs of pretty much everything, including mains supply voltage and current. Additional meters show things like gain reduction and power output.
