FLUX PLUG-INS COMPATIBLE WITH WAVES SOUNDGRID
Plug-in developer Flux has announced full compatibility for its audio software tools with the Waves SoundGrid platform. The project started last year at NAMM when Plugivery CEO, Eric Nolot, got the Flux and Waves guys together around a table to discuss the new platform. Flux was convinced of the power of this platform and took on the challenge.
Six months of intensive coding resulted in what has just been announced by Flux — a solid Waves SoundGrid-compatible release for 12 of the company’s plug-ins (Alchemist, Solera, Syrah, Elixir, Epure, Pure Limiter, Pure Compressor, Pure DCompressor, Pure Expander, Pure DExpander, and freeware plugins; BitterSweet and Stereo Tool, and the Bundles that are made up with these plug-ins). This means all Flux plug-ins will now be a part of a system that fully integrates with the SoundGrid environment including networkable digital consoles for sound installations. All current and new licenses, perpetual and subscription, for the mentioned Flux products includes the Waves SoundGrid versions at no additional costs.
Mick Olesh, Waves EVP of Sales & Marketing, comments, “Waves is dedicated to providing our customers the freedom to use their plug-in products anywhere and everywhere, be it in the studio or in live environments. We are excited to join forces with Flux, allowing users to benefit from Waves SoundGrid technology and use Flux plug-ins natively in live settings as well.”
Gaël Martinet, CEO of Flux: “We are very proud and excited to release our audio plug-in software for the Waves SoundGrid platform. It offers new perspectives for many of our customers that are already using the powerful SoundGrid environment in the studio or within live applications.”
